Field Study 3

 Date: 10/14/22

Time: 4:00 PM

Climate: Partly Cloudy, Slight Breeze

Temp: 55 Degrees F

Length of Day: 11 Hours and 7 Minutes

Organisms: Not very many today, mostly just algae, as shown in my picture of the water. Could hear the crickets chirping, and saw a few worms and other small creatures, but a fairly quiet day in terms of wildlife.

Changes: Today there were the most changes I have seen in my study so far this year. The corn has gone from mostly green with a slight yellow, to completely yellow as we near harvest. It may be gone completely by the next time I get there. With the heavy rain this week, this is the highest the water level has been, being close to my knee at its deepest level. As we get into fall the entire field has began to get more yellow than it was before.
